If i see my phone ring one more time with the driver pretending to be lost when i can see on the gps he is 10 feet from my door and im on the phone looking at him and he says "yep i see you" and just stares at me for 10 minutes til I have to go out in the snow in bare feet to get my order.. im gonna lose it!!! Stop hiring fat lazy garbage people. Im ordering and then turning my phone off!!

Incorrect deliveries and NO Refund

The delivery happened at wrong address and even with a PIN option, the delivery guy tagged it as delivered on his own. On talking to customer care, they mentioned they need 24-48 hours to “investigate”. And even after that, they did not refund the money.

Wish I could rate them zero stars worse app to order food I’ve ever used in my life. I only picked them because it was a little cheaper than DoorDash but it’s not even worth it. They took over two hours to prepare my food den still wouldn’t deliver it nor even get me a delivery driver. Then charged me 45 dollars just to cancel I’ll never use this again in my life. I decided to buy some food from Uber eats having a 15$ dollares off my purchase first delivery went well arrive in time food good and everything i ordered Starbucks the same day but lat night the dasher took a photo saying he left it at a place contacted me by number two different number actually to not be able to say I contacted him from the app. This is a very long story but I was texting him and out of nowhere just blocked me I wanted my redound of course but Uber eats said no and keeps sending me to this chat bot they got I’m so upset that I wasted my money mostly it was a visa gift card paid extra fee to add more just to get scammed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible customer service

I was not impressed with the customer service provided of uber eats. I have experienced one super late uber eats and just wanted a refund. It seems to them that since the food arrived super late and the food was extremely cold they do not issue a refund d. GOODLUCK

Apple on the Uber Eats app says unavailable recently

Recently Apple Pay says unavailable when I try to pay on the app. Is this after an update. I like using Apple Pay because it’s very secure and encrypted because when I use my debit card in a different restaurant delivery app In the past I got hacked where orders were being placed on my account so I remove my debit card information and from then on I only use Apple Pay, but now the Apple Pay on the Uber eats app is not working

All hail the mighty Uber. This app is poorly arranged and not intuitive to use. I'm sorry it's just not as easy as I would like it to be.

My food never arrived and I tried contacting Uber support but they didn’t do anything about it. Every time I have a problem with my food they never do anything about it. Honestly done using the app.

I applaud the fast response, and great service of Uber Eats. However, these extra fees constantly added on the order makes it very expensive. Allow me the responsibility to tip the Driver. This is the reason, many people dread ordering Uber Eats. 🙏

Latest update

So many things have changed and most I can’t stand and I order at least twice a week. The worst is when you scroll sideways and go into that restaurant or store but decide you don’t want that you start at the beginning instead of where you have scrolled to! I liked that all options were along the top bc you can get to what your looking for quick now you have to scroll down to find day the “offers” or “deals” also after you have backed out of a restaurant a few times the screen goes white you have to close out the app and open again making you start all over! Please go back to the last version!!!

What is literally wrong with this app. It makes u pay to cancel ur order for one. And for 2 I haven’t gotten a person to deliver my food in over an hour. And there’s no text support option neither.

Disappointed

I’ve never in my life would’ve seen me write a review but it was needed. They took away my money as I cancelled it. My order was $24 and the cancellation fee was $12.71 I should received back $11.29 back. I’m overreacting with this because I don’t have much money and I just lost my job! I talked to 3 different agents none of them seem to help. They just kept ending the conversations. Now I got nothing to eat. I’ve been a loyal uber eater for awhile now and they still couldn’t seem to help me out. I won’t be coming back to this app at all.

shouldn’t allow drivers to accept more than one order at a time, maybe would prevent mix ups ? And maybe a way to make sure drivers check that everything is there before hand or atleast ask before grabbing things, too many times where I don’t get all my stuff

Can’t get my order right

Every time I order my food order is wrong. Or the delivery person doesn’t show up. Ordering on doordash I’ve never had an issue. But on this app they can’t seem to find my apartment.

My experience

Over all a great experience. I’d like to see more savings and offers than the same ol same but I still give 5 stars . I’ve had very few issues while using this app versus its competitors and when I did have the minor inconveniences, it was always resolved. This is now the only app that for delivery of my food or groceries

Do not use Uber eats they will never give you your money back if something goes wrong

Don’t use Uber eats or any Uber stuff because because if they do anything wrong, you will never get your refund ever. They will sit here and argue with you and say you did get your food even though you didn’t they will not refund you. You will just keep arguing with them over and over again. Do not get this app. Do not use the service ever.

Never on time

I use this app a lot and constantly gives me food half an hour late and cold. Unless you pay up to get priority you will get cold food.

Uber eats

I had gotten my order taken from the driver and there was clear evidence that it had been taken. But uber eats wouldn’t give me a refund saying it’s not eligible when I had showed them proof it had gotten taken. The driver had supposedly dropped it off infront of my house but I went outside to look and it wasn’t there. Called the driver about 4 times no answer then I see it says the food was outside my gate. I go look and it’s not there. I’m just asking for a refund that’s it.

Awful: DON’T TRUST

Half of my order was missing. They said they would refund me $5 in “uber cash” which is already inequivalent to the original item. Then, they charged my account again instead of refunding anything. I didn’t notice until it was “after the 48 hours” so I couldn’t be refunded for the missing items OR the false charge. This is dumb.

Be very careful. I thought I was paying for my food but instead it was an ad for Uber One and I was inadvertently signed up without an option to review.

Completely horrible service and customer help. Orders always come wrong and even though that’s not exactly their fault, they do almost nothing to make up for it. Got offered 2$ refund on a 30$ order. Got charged and payed for the whole order in full. And after a hour they took the 2$ refund back and are stating I owe another 5$ because their system “assumed” I was gone tip from their uber cash option even thought I didn’t have any money in there until I got the whopping 2$ refund. And now I have to waste hours just out of pettiness to talk to 3 different teams about how after being charged in full to my bank, getting a wrong order and on top of that getting my refund taken away I somehow still owe? Money to them? What a joke.

I’ve been using Uber Eats for years, but this was the last straw. The automated help is useless, and the rep I spoke with made things worse. They clearly don’t care about loyal customers. I’m deleting my account and switching to DoorDash. Maybe that’s why they’re #2 and Uber Eats is stuck at #7. Do better.

They are big fat liars

So I am hungry I go to order food it says 45 mins after ordering estimated delivery time I think cool okay then I make the payment pay the money and exorbitant delivery fees and after taking my money the estimated delivery time is now 90 mins. When I ordered food the time is an important constraint I ordered only because it was coming in a certain time window. By doubling that after taking the payment now I won’t be at home when the food came, I have to spend again for food at my college canteen because I could get my food on time by uber and I have to miss gym because I didn’t eat on time and wastage of the orders food which is gonna sit at my door for 5 hours till night when I come back and they do this often they show one estimated time and after taking money they double that time I don’t usually write reviews but I am fed up of uber and their looting tactics I’m gonna start using some other app which is more transparent and honest. Worst experience with the uber guys.

Forced to join Uber One trial to order something

I didn’t enjoy being required to join their Uber One trial in order to order something. I wasn’t sure if this was a glitch in the app or just shady business practices, but either way, not cool.

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. This lady didn't even let me explain my issue before she said "we offered the best solution" and closed the chat. Delivery people will get orders they are too far to pick up, take forever, and then stop randomly for over 30 minutes. Food arrives cold & gross. & you get NO HELP. I've spent thousands on this stupid app. I'm better off spending the money on a reputable weekly food service delivery. They do not care about the customers who PAY THEIR JOBS.

I just ordered some Popeyes (New Pickled menu), had somebody picking it up cool soon as they got to Popeyes I got a new person. Same thing with a new person and a new person they did this like 4-5 times last person was willing to deliver it. He gets there it says uber eats never put in a ticket and then to cancel my order had to pay a $19 fee for the food… how come uber eats couldn’t pay for it? Yall switched me 4-5 different people then they said never was a ticket? ✌🏼

If I could give this a 0 I would I ordered food 3 times back to back and all of my orders were messed up or had missing items when I turned to customer service they told me they were refusing to give me any money back. That was 3 nights in a row i basically had to go hungry because I didn’t have money on my card. When u keep the money for something I didn’t receive that is considered stealing!!!

Uber Eats customer service system is by far the worst I have ever encountered. If the issue with your order isn’t one of the preset options to select from, the system will do everything it can to avoid connecting you to an actual representative. Drivers are NOT told when customers pay for priority, placing the blame on them - rather than the company at fault. Great job Uber Eats 👍🏻

Better hope you don’t want to delete this app they keep your card info on file

Even though I canceled uber one a thousand times, removed my cards from my account, and haven’t used this app in half a year you still charge my card every month. I removed that card from that account and had a different card on there which has since been closed. In response, they choose to retrieve my credit card information from their system so they can just repeatedly charge it every month. If I hadn’t caught it they would keep doing it over and over. Then I asked if I could have my money back, they said no because the messages from 20 different conversations Ive had on the app where they say they will fix this issue for me magically don’t exist. What a surprise. See you next month when you steal my money again. At least then I can have proof and I’ll just let the BBB know.

Terrible delivery system

Uber Eats is the most unregulated service I have ever seen. A RC car can bring my food faster then the drivers themselves. The drivers are not to blame, the system of Uber Eats is everything to blame for. I ordered from the McDonalds app which is another third party arrangement they have with Uber Eats. I ordered nuggets, fries, ice cream, and soda. Doesn’t sound like it would last long right? Anyway, I ordered from there and I’m quite literally 0.8 miles away meaning 5 minutes from McDonalds from my work location. I ordered it at 11:10 and waited. The McDonald’s app tells me it was picked up at 11:25. The driver, instead of delivering my food drives 25 minutes with ice cream, fries , nuggets and a soda to handle other orders before dropping off mine. He arrives at 11:50. The driver walks in nonchalantly to my store I stopped him and explained why this is ridiculous. All the “Genius” said was “the app told me to do it.” Uber eats gave me most of my money back but because McDonalds was another third party I got to ask McDonalds app for my money back like I’m some beggar. this is only a small story I can tell you compared to the rest of this horrible service I was given from this app. May you do yourself a favor and do not get Uber eats. The only thing you will be eating is regret. Have a great day.
