Every other food delivery service, the driver is willing to deliver the food to my door, except for UberEats. The drivers expect me to come down stairs and walk to their cars to get my food like how you would get into a ride.

Frankly, about as effective as asking a stranger for directions; youre trusting your hunger to a crap shoot. Maybe its still available. Maybe theyll show up. Maybe theyll be on time. This new model is not entirely-ready for real-world usage.
Placed order and was charged. App told me driver was arriving, went outside to meet them. No one was there, no one ever came and they have no support number. This is completely unreliable and absolutely no customer support to remedy the situation.
It is certainly convenient, but the service level depends on the restaurant and delivery person. After ordering at 10 times at 10 different restaurants, 2 forgot to include part of the order and only 4 provided receipt with the food. Delivery was late for more than 30 minutes in 3 occasions (inevitably the food was cold) and one time the food was spilling off from the boxes.
The worst pizza Ive ever ordered! A small for $16. Had maybe $1.00 worth of ingredients. Hardly any cheese. Maybe two mushrooms sliced, and a smattering of spinach. Crust tasted like cardboard. No wonder it only took 10 min to arrive. Complete rip off!!! I wont be ordering again. Very disappointed.
Literally there are like ten options available after 9:30pm that can deliver within 40 mins to me and Im in New York City! Oh uber, the arrogance of selecting food for customers instead of letting them have lots of options (some healthy options would be nice, btw) means you have a niche service that is poorly run. The time that they estimate moves around constantly as they either get no info from restaurants or are wrong. Also terrible that the coupon they offer does not work / no place to enter promo code as you check out so have to email them to get your credit.
The app itself is awesome and works very well. The drivers are obviously not delivery drivers when they arrive, however. Also, the app is about to start charging for delivery and at that time, will lose my business for charged delivery to DoorDash.
Ive an avid uber user but I am not a fan of uber eats. Multiple times the restaurant has cancelled after a long wait. I could totally understand if they cancelled immediately but to cancel 20 minutes after ordering then I have to wait another 30 minutes for the new order in really unacceptable. Restaurants that cancel consistently should be removed from the list!
...texts cost me money and there is no way to disable. And there is no Apple Pay either, while that option exists on the (now clunky) uber app. Seems like a half baked app thats been rushed to market. Fail.
Inaccurate time estimates & no way to sort by time/distance which is a basic feature of seamless etc.
Ive ordered about 6 times now and its been great. Had a minor confusion with one order but customer service was helpful and able to get my issue resolved. A must try!
Ive used this service twice now and both times my food came fresh and in the timeframe they promised when I ordered. I like ubereats over favor because its faster and more affordable
Simple UI and such a great choice of restaurants in DC for lunch.
Uber eats used to be my go-to for quick lunches at work. Recently, Ive had a wave of unresponsive drivers, drivers canceling after I waited for them for 20 minutes, a driver completing my order without delivering food, 30 minute wait times, and every item on the menu being sold out. Its now faster for me to just go to a quick restaurant by my office rather than deal with the headache of figuring out whats available for 15 minutes, then waiting another 20 for delivery IF the driver even manages to get there.
Latest version of this app wont open at all
Whats up with the $2.99 delivery fee? I was using Über Eats everyday, until they implemented this delivery fee. No good.
Tried several times to order on multiple occasions. First time, I was told that I could not order from the restaurant after I went through the whole process. Second time, the app just hung as it was waiting for confirmation from the restaurant. No status update, no confirmation ... just a waste of time. This app simply does not work.
Between this and other food delivery apps, UberEats is comparable to the others. I like that I havent run into minimum order amounts and I guess just like Uber, there isnt the expectation to tip? Instant delivery options for lunch are super quick, but usually smaller portions than you would normally get at the restaurant. Also, since the food is kept in a thermally lined bag it tends not to be super hot when it arrives. But thats about what you can expect for a 10 minute or less delivery!
The delivery took longer than it said in the app but it was still faster than the other apps Ive used
Initial foray into food delivery was great. Usually three rotating options every day delivered in mins. I mean like less than 5. These were meals that stayed well given the early prep. New version is just as bad as seamless. Same boring bad options every day, with wildly inconsistent delivery times - all depending on what the individual estate aunt has going on. Will not be using it much now. As far as the app, pretty easy to use. My complaint is resigned to concept.
