Uber Eats: Food Delivery App Reviews

The worst

At first UberEATS was fine then they started to disable my account. Took them about a 3 weeks to reactivate my account. So when they did, I logged back in then it logged me out. When I tried logging back in, it said disabled again. They dont answer your email, only when they feel like it. Now that I deleted my account and made a new one, I cant even check out to order my food. Bad bad bad

Get $15 your first order: eats-nq2ub

This app is awesome! Use this code to get $15 off your first order: eats-nq2ub

Couldnt use the promotion code

I tried using the promotion code it didnt go through. Still I like this app its a lifesaver specially when I got sick with the flu.

Good service area

Only delivery service to come to my area, and barely 3mi from downtown. In a city with Zifty, Grubhub, Postmates, and many other delivery services.

Quick and easy

Theyre obviously still working on the selection you have but there are a decent amount of restaurants in the area and the food arrives within about half an hour

ZERO STARS

I didnt get my food and I was charged. Instead of the driver picking up my food from the location. He thought he was picking ME up.

Too slow

The good thing is you can track the whole delivery process by breaking down the restaurant preparation and actual delivery time. It took the delivery guy 35 mins to deliver my food, while uber originally suggest 8 mins when the status shows out for delivery. The delivery guy kept rerouting on the map where you can track on him. Apparently he was carrying mutiple orders in one delivery and resulted a over delay on my order. The Uber should have set a maximum order that a delivery guy can carry at one time, instead of allowing keep taking the business but cant promise the delivery on time. The food arrived cold with sauces leaked out to the bag. There is a long way to go for Uber.

Dont use this app if youre actually hungry

I placed an order using Ubereats and when I still hadnt received it within 50 minutes, the amount of time it was supposed to be delivered in, I checked the app for any updates. At that point it notified me that the order had been canceled and gave no reason why. I called customer support and spent another hour on the phone with them trying to figure out what was wrong. The agent first put me on hold for 15 minutes and the. lied to me and said that the restaurant was too busy to fulfill orders. So I called to confirm that and learned that it wasnt the case. When I pressed him further he acknowledged that they had a system problem and were working on it and for the trouble he offered me a coupon for $4.99 off of a meal that was going to be $100, whenever they get their system up and running again. He had no explanation for why the app continued to allow orders to be placed even though they knew it wasnt working.

Get the orders right.. Then well talk

Uber Eats has gotten these orders right very few amount of times. After the third incorrect order, I am done dealing with them and Im deleting the uber eats app. If Im going to use Uber then Im going to use them as a taxi service only (and I might still use lyft). Food is not their calling

Really?

I live in Studio City, Los Angeles. Yet its saying its not available in my area. Its not that hard for them to to stop at a restaurant, pick me up food & then deliver it. Thats what we are paying for! Its not like Im an hour away! Its very stupid that theyre only serving a very small part of Los Angeles.

No AMx

Does not use AMX card. Worthless for me

Shameless

They upped their delivery charge which was already exorbitant considering yore getting food thats been sitting in a hot lunchbox for hours. And they dont even pay their drivers well. Terrible.

Cant even order

Wasted more time trying to place an order than it would have taken me to just use a regular delivery service. They couldnt confirm my order with the normal instant delivery service so I tried using their new service picking up from restaurants... They couldnt even confirm my order with the restaurant... Wont be using this service in the future. Thanks for wasting my time Uber.

My driver sucked.

I requested one and only one thing: onions. Zero onions were brought. Nobody will call or email me back. Use favor instead - they are pros.

Worst Customer Experience Ever

After waiting 2 hours, my order was canceled. They made the Uber driver call me because the restaurant ran out of food. Before that Uber "customer service" told me they were waiting on a driver to pick up my food. I blame Uber as their app never provided a useful status and they have no backend systems linking drivers, restaurants, uber support and the customer. Stick to rides for hire Uber.

Quick delivery, good food

Not sure why everyone is hating on this, but I used it in NYC and my food arrived quickly, was still fresh, and the guy who biked it over was super nice. Would definitely use again. Fees are very reasonable

Easiness and perfection

I discovered Über Eat recently. Used it twice and was fabulous. The app is extremely well thought perfect UI. Was lovely to see in real time the progress from order to delivery. Amazing choices of restaurants and food ! Congratulations Über !

Zero stars - can get past CC info to see if worth entering real CC info to use it

Obviously, I want to see what it has to order from before I would want to enter my credit card info, or for that matter even create an account. Got past creating a bogus account so I could see the list of places I might be able to order from - as when I googled that for Dallas I got a lot of weird places that I had never heard of and NONE of the common places I would have expected. So, I cant even begin to find out if this is better than the first impression. Would be *** zero *** stars as I can even try it out. Horrible, horrible design. (I have 30+ years of software design and implementation - I would expect to be fired if I designed something like this)

Way better than seamless.
